What is VOLthon?VOLthon is the University of Tennessee-Knoxville's largest student-led philanthropy. We work year-round to raise money and awareness for the children and families at East Tennessee Children's Hospital. At the end of the year we host a 12-hour Dance Marathon filled with live performances, line dancing, local businesses, food, etc.

Where does the money I raise/donate go?All of the money raised by VOLthon goes directly to the families at East Tennessee Children's Hospital! Over the years we've helped provide life saving medical equipment, basic care items for long term residents, a neonatal ambulance, etc.

How do I get involved with VOLthon?There are so many ways to get involved with VOLthon! From being a dancer to leadership opportunities there is a role for everyone on the VOLthon team. Check us out on instagram or fill out the interest form on our home page to learn more about how you can get involved with VOLthon!

What kinds of events do you host?We have a ton of events happening all the time like; Bouquets for babies, tailgates, tabling on PED walkway, and more! We're always posting about upcoming events on our social media platforms so be sure to check what's coming up!

Is it too late to register for VOLthon?It's never too late to register! Our registration is open until the day of our Dance Marathon in February. The earlier you register the more time you'll have to fundraise and take part in our fundraising challenges/incentives!

Do you really stand for the entire 12 hours?Yes! As a member of VOLthon, you pledge to remain standing during our Dance Marathon in honor of children who cannot. You are welcome to dance, check out our activities, sing along with local bands, learn the morale dance line, and more - as long as you remain on your feet!

How can I donate?You can donate through the 'donate' button at the top of our home bar or by donating directly to one of our participants! As always, we appreciate every donation and thank you for making a difference in children's health.
